Zundert
Vincent van Gogh was born and spent his childhood years in Zundert. The memories of his youth are kept alive in the Vincent van GoghHuis. His father was a minister in the church in Zundert. You can visit the grave of his stillborn brother. His name? Also Vincent van Gogh.
Etten-Leur
In Etten-Leur, near Breda, Vincent registered as a painter and had his first studio, while his father preached in the Van Gogh Church at the market. Here, you can also visit the many other Van Gogh monuments.
Van Gogh Church Etten-Leur
In the spring of 2025, the Van Gogh Church in Etten-Leur will be given a new purpose as a museum.
This remarkable building, where Vincent van Gogh began his artistic career, will be devoted entirely to his passion for painting and the early development of his talent. The church, where Vincent's father was a pastor and where Van Gogh first established himself as an artist, offers visitors a unique multimedia experience that brings this history to life. In addition, a reconstruction of his first studio will be built next to the church.

Van Gogh Village Nuenen
Van Gogh Village Nuenen is a veritable outdoor museum with many locations directly related to Vincent van Gogh. He made a quarter of his works here, including ‘The Potato Eaters’.
In Van Gogh Village Nuenen, you visit places where Vincent lived and worked and literally tread in Van Gogh’s footsteps. Below, you can see that it still looks the same as it did in Vincent’s time.
Van Gogh Village Museum

Den Bosch
As the only place in the south of the Netherlands, in Het Noordbrabants Museum in Den Bosch you will find original pieces by Van Gogh during his time in North Brabant. You can see paintings of the Windmill at Kollen, a location you can actually visit.
